As the art producer on The WereCleaner, I oversaw the art team by organizing weekly schedules,  assigning tasks, and conducting check-ins to ensure all our art assets were delivered on time and matched the quality of the game.

Task Management

  • Planned weekly tasks by defining the goals, determining priorities, and assigning ownership through Click-Up, Google Sheets, and Discord

  • Outlined clear instructions for each task by providing relevant art direction, links to internal art references and guides, and established submission processes to ensure artists received all the necessary information they needed to complete their tasks

  • Maintained collaborative communication with the art team to flag any roadblocks, issues, and adapt to sudden changes

Before a task is assigned, I plan out the work in to smaller steps and by a weekly basis. This allows me to estimate how long a task is going to take. I adjust each assignment based on current team avalability and project needs.

Tasks were assigned through Click-up with task names, assignee, due date, and prioritiy level.

Scheduling and Asset Tracking

  • Created an art burndown chart to outline the art team's production schedule and estimate how long an asset would take to complete

  • Adjusted the schedule based on the current state of the project and our priorities

  • Built and updated asset tracking sheets to organize all steps of an art asset from concept to final

This was a progress tracker that I created to track the production process of our cutscene animations. The tracker helped me guide our animators through each phase of the pipeline.

An example of an asset catalog. This sheet contained each NPC piece, a link to the file, and any notes. That way, team members had direct access to the assets without needing to look through hundreds of folders and files.
